The Foundation Meeting will start with an introduction to “the mentee” of the process by setting the stage with their expectations. This will typically be a one-on-one meeting and can also include the close family, such as a life partner or spouse, if that could benefit her situation.
The Foundation Meeting will develop the mentees’ ability to:
- find their intrinsic motivation/hope
- gain an overview of their journey
- set their long-term goals
- Seek ways to support learning goals
- Seek input from others
